Gipsy Rose Warhol

You know, it takes a certain gift to have everyone quoting you years after you’ve said something. But I guess it takes an even greater gift to have the thing just about come true. Yep, I’m pretty sure, now, that everyone will become world-famous for fifteen minutes – and blogs just moved the spotlight that little bit closer. So, here we go: lights, camera, action!! Umm, actually I’m not quite ready yet – gimme fifteen minutes…

Post Mortem

I could be forgiven for ending my foray into writing by burning the lot, and declaring that I'm just not up to it, that it's taking too long, that I'm lost... and so on.
But it's a truism you should finish what you start. And I've hardly started, with the halfway stage not even remotely on the horizon. At least I'm thinking and working on it, which is positive.
The main problem I have is that nothing really urgent happens from the third chapter for about 3 or 4 chapters. The chapters are informative and have a place in the narrative, but something is needed to show more about the hero's purpose and lend more urgency to the script.
I need to write more chapters. And I need to determine the best path from the second chapter to the third etc.
Is the first chapter the right one, or should it be the second chapter? I think the current first is good, so changing it to something else is not the way. The ending of the second chapter means that the hero should really go some place - and he doesn't: he goes somewhere else.
Hmmm...  think I know the order now. I hope!
Bacardi, coke, ice, slice of lemon... think... chill... think... chill...  Dave Pimm, I could kill you, but you might just have saved my story lol
